Burgundy Red Walls in Our Living Room

We chose a dark red color for painting our living room
This was a fun and easy painting project. We chose a dark red paint color (wine red) for our living room. The color is a bit darker than it looks in the photo.
We picked burgundy because we wanted an earthy color that didn't look too dark or gloomy. We were ready for a dramatic change and we surely got the results we were after.
The red walls look really bright in daytime (especially on sunny days), and toned down in artificial light.
There is now a nice contrast between the colors in the room, and the white trim really pops out.
Our living room now feels like a very good place to calm down after a stressful day.
